Is it true that your unhealed piercing jewelry has to be titanium?
Thats what I’m worried about ( getting a reaction ) , I thought if I had been peirced with it, then I must be ok with it. I keep seeing all these really nice labrets in titanium, but am a bit wary about buying them.
So titanium is least likely to cause a reaction?
Titanium is the best metal to use in a healing piercing, because it causes no allergic reactions (contains no nickel), unlike surgical grade steel, which can cause allergic reactions, although it is uncommon.
I was pierced with surgical steel, and have no reactions to it, but Ti is much higher quality, as is Niobium.

Where’s A Good Place To Get Glass/Titanium Tapers or Jewelry For Stretched Ears?
I plan on going from 18 gauge ears to 16, but I read some information and it says until it’s all healed I should only use glass on titanium. Where can I get 16 gauge glass or titanium earrings and tapers? Any other information on ear stretching would be welcome as well

i got my industrial done a little while ago and im almost ready to change the jewelry! i bought a titanium covered steel barbell and i am hoping it will be ok. Does anyone know for sure?
It will depend on you (everybody’s different), but it should be OK. If not, it will feel irritated and then you should put antibiotic on it and remove it.
